MEMBERSHIP
GoodCorporation membership is achieved by organisations that demonstrate that their practices towards employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, the environment and the community meet the Standard in an independent assessment.
GoodCorporation charges for its assessments based on the size of the organisation and the complexity of the assessment. The cost of assessment varies also for Full Membership, Associate Membership and for customised assessments.

Full Membership
Full Membership includes licence to use the members’ logo, the annual assessment process and production of the assessment report, data for external reporting, a profile in the GoodCorporation directory, and invitations to member events.
The Full Member rate includes the cost of assessment, but not the assessor’s out-of-pocket expenses while conducting the on-site work, such as travel to sites, which will also be charged (at cost) if applicable. Please contact us directly if you have any queries regarding costs.
Full Members are required to meet a minimum standard across each of the assessed criteria. If the assessor completes the assessment and the required levels are not achieved for Full membership, the organisation will be classified as an Associate Member provided they remain committed to meeting the Standard.
The costs of assessment vary depending on the size and complexity of the organisation. The assessment and membership costs start at under £1,000 for small organisations in the UK. If you are located outside the UK, please contact us [link to contact us page] for cost information.
The assessment requirements and cost are agreed following discussion to determine the organisation’s size, type and management structure. The cost of assessment varies according to:
- The size and complexity of the organisation
- The number of sites that need to be visited
- The number of practices being assessed
- The country or countries in which assessment will take place
- Involvement in activities such as large capital projects, food processing, home working, or others where additional assessment time may be required
- The type of organisation (not-for-profit organisations or charities may qualify for a discounted rate).

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership includes licence to use the affiliate members’ logo, the annual assessment process and production of the short assessment report, data for external reporting and a profile in the GoodCorporation directory.
The Affiliate Member rate includes all costs of the assessment. Please contact us directly if you have any queries regarding costs.
The Affiliate Member process is simpler than for Full Membership. The process includes an electronic survey of employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. The feedback is reviewed by GoodCorporation and if it reaches a high standard, the organisation is awarded the Affiliate logo. There is no internal audit of management systems or processes. Instead we ask stakeholders whether the organisation works in a fair and responsible way, and if the feedback is good, the organisation can use the Affiliate logo.
The costs of assessment vary depending on the size and complexity of the organisation. The assessment and membership costs start at £1,000 for organisations with up to 25 employees and £2,000 for organisations with up to 50 employees. Larger organisations pays a higher rate, depending on the amount of time needed to set up and organise the assessment.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership is for organisations working towards meeting the GoodCorporation Standard. They can use the GoodCorporation Standard internally and are committed to undertaking independent assessment at a date agreed with GoodCorporation, normally within the range of 6 to 18 months.
Associate Membership includes licence to use the GoodCorporation system and intellectual property, the ability to make agreed public statements (for example, for the purposes of public reporting), a half-day training course for managers about the standard and how it is assessed, and invitations to events held for members.
The organisation will also be listed in the GoodCorporation Member directory as an Associate. The cost of Associate Membership is 15% of the full membership rate.
Customised Assessment
Organisations wishing to undertake a customised assessment against their own list of good practices can do so. The cost of this type of assessment depends upon the scope and complexity of the assessment.
