GoodCorporation was founded in 2000 by a group of former partners and directors of KPMG consulting who wanted to create a straight-forward and transparent method to help companies to measure the impact of their organisation in a credible way.

 


Michael Littlechild - Chief Executive & Co-Founder

Michael became a director of GoodCorporation in August 2001. Formerly a partner at KPMG Consulting, he worked in the private and public sectors in Europe, the Middle and Far East, and Africa. He advised on strategy and policy formulation and implementation, and designed many government programmes in developed and emerging economies.

Michael takes responsibility for the delivery and quality of GoodCorporation's on-site assessment work. He has led assessments in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the US and specialises in the oil and gas sector and in anti-corruption policies and systems. He frequently writes on business ethics and anti-corruption measures.

Prior to joining KPMG, Michael spent five years as a Research Fellow at the Centre for European Policy Research at Strathclyde University. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Centre for Corporate Responsibility at Nottingham Business School and a Trustee of Awards for Young Musicians. Michael speaks German, Italian and French.

   

Leo Martin - Director & Co-Founder

Leo Martin is a founder and Director of GoodCorporation. He is the principal presenter in the BBC series Good Company, Bad Company about corporate responsibility and he is also author of 'From Principles to Profits' the BBC Learning book about putting corporate responsibility into practice. He graduated with a first class degree in economics from the University of Sussex and has an MPhil from Cambridge University in development economics.

He started his career as a Fellow of the Overseas Development Institute and then went to KPMG where he worked for eight years on economics and strategy for governments and companies worldwide. His clients included AstraZeneca, Rolls-Royce, KLM, EDS, Pizza Hut, as well as a number of departments of government in the UK and Hong Kong. Leo then went on to work for Lord Sharman, then global chairman of KPMG, where he helped to establish Britain in Europe. Leo regularly chairs GoodCorporation’s debates at the House of Lords on corporate responsibility issues.

Leo is responsible for business development and strategy.

   

Dr George Houpis - Non-executive Director & Co-Founder

Non-executive Director & Co-Founder, George became a non-executive director of GoodCorporation in August 2001. He leads the telecoms and postal consulting work at Frontier Economics, which specialises in economic policy and strategy advice. A former Director at KPMG Consulting, he worked on competition and regulation, advising telecoms, postal services and government clients. George is a founding member of an international charity, the Jorg Weise Association, and chairman of the Vacstuds Foundation, a charity teaching English to overseas school children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

   

Vicky Pryce – Advisory Council member & Co-Founder

Vicky is currently a Senior Managing Director to FTI Consulting and was previously the Chief Economic Adviser and Director General of the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. She was also Economics and Deputy Head of the UK's Government Economic Service. Prior to her experience at GoodCorporation, she was a Partner and Chief Economist at KPMG, Corporate Economist at ESSO Europe and Chief Economist at Williams and Glyn's Bank, later the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Vicky co-founded GoodCorporation, and was board chair until 2002. She stepped down from the board of GoodCorporation Ltd when she was appointed to government to avoid any conflicts of interest. She is a member of the Advisory Panel of GoodCorporation.

   

Jane Arnott - Country Manager in New Zealand

Prior to being appointed Country Manager for GoodCorporation in New Zealand, Jane was the executive director of a nationwide charitable organisation working closely with the corporate sector and New Zealand government. She founded New Zealand’s first cross cultural consultancy representing Pacific Island communities and has run her own communications company specialising in investor relations, business marketing strategy and branding. Her clients included listed companies, state owned enterprises, government departments and health agencies.

Jane has a post graduate qualification in professional ethics. She is a member of the Institute of Directors and is an associate trustee for the New Zealand Conservation Trust.

   

Ken Dunham – Country Manager in North America

Ken Dunham is GoodCorporation’s Country Manager in North America, where he is responsible for leading assessments and business development. Before joining GoodCorporation, Ken worked as an independent management consultant for clients in healthcare, education, government, and IT/telecom. He also has experience in occupational health & safety, the emergency services, law enforcement, and private security.

Ken has a dual MBA from Cornell University in the US and Queen’s University in Canada, and has a graduate certificate programme in Organizational Values & Ethics at Carleton University. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and an affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Ken serves on the Board of Trustees of international college, Lester B Pearson United World College of the Pacific, where he is a member of the Executive Committee and has chaired two other board committees.

   

Christopher Cordey – Country Manager in Switzerland

Christopher Cordey is Country Manager in Switzerland where he is responsible for establishing and developing GoodCorporation.

Christopher has 20 years of international experience in S.E. Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Prior to joining GoodCorporation, Christopher worked as an independent management consultant for clients in FMCG industries, jewellery and cosmetics sectors, with a core focus on strategic planning and brand building. Christopher holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from HEC Lausanne and a Corporate Social Responsibility Diploma from Geneva University. He is a member of Sustainable Finance Geneva. A Swiss national, he speaks French, English and German.

In addition, GoodCorporation has a team of assessors worldwide who have conducted work in more than 50 countries.
