Global Compact Compliance
The Global Compact was set up by the United Nations to encourage and help businesses to adopt responsible business behaviour. The Compact is based on a list of 10 principles covering human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption policies.
As part of its assessment work, GoodCorporation has found that a number of its clients are interested in measuring progress against the 10 principles of the Global Compact. This is to help clients with their ‘communication on progress’- an obligation on organisations that have signed the Compact to report on how they are implementing the 10 principles. This type of assessment has also been used by our clients as part of their public reporting on their Global Compact membership.
