Bribery a way of life for companies operating in emerging markets

GoodCorporation was asked to comment on research from the Henley Business School claiming that 85% of managers are forced to resort to bribery in order to do business.

These findings highlight the difficulties companies face operating in emerging markets. However in our experience, many large international organisations give explicit instructions to staff to refuse bribes and some have pulled out of countries where the risk is too great.  Those that have ignored the law have faced huge fines.
