Evaluating adequate procedures under a debarment regime

For a major European construction firm, GoodCorporation provided services in relation to its release from an international organisation’s debarment regime. The client had been investigated and found guilty of bribery and as such, was subsequently barred for a three year period. During the period a monitor was appointed and GoodCorporation was asked to undertake the role of the monitor’s consultant. GoodCorporation designed an ABC assessment along with the international organisation which combined the GoodCorporation ABC Framework and standard assessment, together with a significant ethical culture on-line survey.

The survey results and the assessment results were used by the international organisation as an initial benchmark to understand the client’s ABC programme. The assessment was then repeated later on during the monitoring process to show the international organisation what progress had been made.
