Tech giants have been accused of having cultures that ignore or perpetuate harassment and gender discrimination. The December issue of HR Magazine looks at the recent walkout by Google workers to protest against sexual harassment, misconduct and a workplace culture that wasn’t working.
Commenting in the article, GoodCorporation’s Jane Ellis said,
“A wise start-up will recognise that although it is possible to break the mould with a product, ignoring good governance and responsible management practices comes at a heavy price, and not just in terms of bad headlines.”
