For a gaming company, GoodCorporation carried out a detailed review of its responsible business practices, focusing in particular on a number of data protection concerns.
The review was undertaken over a three-week period in four of the company’s main operating sites across Europe. Two call centres were visited and a number of customer relationship managers were interviewed anonymously. The review also looked in detail at the process for managing and handling customer data. As a result of this investigation a number several data protection concerns were identified.
An action plan was devised and presented by GoodCorporation to the client. This led to significant changes in how data was managed, in particular changing the amount of data that any one manager could access at a time. The review also led to the implementation of changes in data handling practices that helped to enhance data security.
