ABC benchmarking

Over half of the due diligence procedures assessed by GoodCorporation since 2011 were graded inadequate.

Since the Bribery Act was passed, GoodCorporation has been testing the adequacy of procedures using the GoodCorporation Framework on Bribery and Corruption.

Over 7,000 anti-corruption procedures have been assessed and compiled into the GoodCorporation Adequate Procedures Benchmark.

Clients have used this data in their discussions with the Serious Fraud Office and the Department of Justice to provide assurances that they have adequate procedures and effective compliance systems in place to prevent corruption.

Analysis against the benchmark can also be used to assess the relative strengths and weaknesses of ABC controls relative to other organisations or within the group.

Our matrices also allow companies to compare the implementation of adequate procedures across business areas. We can also provide a scoring profile against the benchmark as a whole for dashboard reporting to senior management.

GoodCorporation's anti-corruption benchmark is made up of data from over 100 ABC assessments testing more than 7,000 business practices. It enables us to identify which anti-corruption procedures are proving difficult to implement and where good companies are excelling.
